It's not too late to review your Medicare plan during the Open Enrollment period (October 15 - December 7). The Open Enrollment period allows individuals with Medicare to review their plan, choose a health and/or prescription plan, or change to a new health and/or prescription plan. One of the greatest things about the Open Enrollment period is that it allows for all Medicare beneficiaries to compare costs and find a plan that best fits their needs and finances.
As a reminder, in the state of Missouri our State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) is a great resource to help you determine what, if any, changes need to be made to your plan. Missouri's SHIP is CLAIM and all services provided by counselors are free. You can contact their toll-free number (1-800-390-3330; 9a-4p Mon-Fri) and a counselor will return your call within a few days. Also, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you can fill out an online form to request assistance/more information.
